My name is Samuel Reid. I am 20 years old, and I have Level 2 Autism. I was recently diagnosed with it on February 26, 2026, but ever since then, life has made so much sense because I understand why I am different from everyone else and why my sense of justice is so strong.
I am a self-taught guitar player, caregiver, protector, singer, songwriter, and advocate.
Established on July 9, 2022, during my homeschool days, I began my ministry through giving someone at church a soft touch, which they told me they needed. Then, it evolved into me playing Special Music at different church since October 2022. Then, it evolved into me standing up for a vulnerable minor – my immediate Spanish family member – against her perpetrator. Then, it evolved into me singing – I sing head soprano, mixed tenor, and subharmonic bass. Then, it evolved into me writing my own songs since May 13, 2024. Then, it evolved into me advocacy preaching for those who are abused since August 23, 2025. Then, it evolved into me using my English (for advocacy preaching and sharing my story), intermediate Spanish (to talk to my immediate Spanish family members and other Spanish people), and my own Sign Language (to show care).
Throughout the years, the Lord has given me numerous opportunities to show my music and advocacy preaching at my home church.
Unified in my membership with the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, my dedication extends to not only singing and playing the guitar, but also advocacy preaching to serve my community.
I have contributed to my community by doing the advocacy preaching on my immediate family member's behalf and also using my YouTube channel to show people not to laugh at, mimic, censor, or say that Mrs. Baylen Dupree-Dooley's tics are fake because I also have verbal and motor tics.
AY Ministries means “Adult and Youth Ministries”. It is my sincere prayer that through the peaceful hymns and advocacy preaching, you will find God as your Source of peace and safety through all of life's challenges.
