People might think that you need to learn Crypto, AI, or real estate to be successful in life or you need to have your driver's license to be independent, but for me, not only has my family ministry business been very sustainable for me, but it has also been my way of being independent where I don't have to worry about scams or trendy topics while being able to expand my family ministry business.
It's better to have technical, creative, and administrative skills enough to create your business while making money than to follow trends and lose money in the process.
Driving is too risky for me because people do not use their indicators when they are switching lanes and they drive recklessly on the road.
The good news is that I can do my family ministry business at home and at church and do not need internet connection to do it in person.
Year 1: Used touch and writing letters with a prayer inside as my way of connecting with people at church, a family member ordered a physical copy of my "Spiritually Connected Friends: Strengthening Relationships with Others Through Empathy" book, I ordered 4 physical copies of "My Bible Study Journal: Comfort for My Broken Heart" book, I ordered a physical copy of my "God Loves You: Love for Those Who Are Suffering" book, and I ordered a physical copy of my "God Loves You: A 40-Day Devotional" book.
Year 2: Made $14.07 from singing and playing my guitar on YouTube.
Year 3: Gained long-lasting spiritual momentum for the first time.
Year 4+: Positively impacted the church through sermons and touch.
Because I studied the Bible by myself at home for 3 years (January 2023 - January 2026) and expanded my family ministry from just Amazon to 10 different platforms (Amazon, WordPress, Gmail, Google Drive, Creator-spring, WhatsApp, Substack, Google Forms, Rumble, and YouTube), I am able to share present truth with others while connecting with people and be financially independent at the same time.
Even when it comes to ministry, I have a different approach because while everyone else focuses on theology, I focus on combining the biblical, personal, and practical aspects of ministry.
People need to be shown God's love according to the Bible, know how the stories in the Bible can relate to them today, and how they can receive the practical support that they need.
We cannot leave even one of these aspects of ministry out because if we do, it will push people away and leave them feeling like we are forcing them to come to Christ in our own strength without meeting their needs and connecting with them on a deeper level.
You can: (1) Read my books in Amazon and Google Drive, (2) read my writings in WordPress and Substack, (3) connect with me in Gmail, WhatsApp, and Google Forms, (4) buy my merch in Creator-spring, and (5) watch my sermons on Rumble and YouTube.
Even though the name of this family ministry is "AY Ministries" because it started out with me just meeting the needs of adults and youth and connecting with them on a deeper level, the name of my business is "Therapeutic Sensory Companion Service" because it is where I become a friend or family member and use my autism to provide therapeutic touch to those at church who feel isolated and need comfort.
The following statement is my own saying on touch vs. conversation based on personal experience.
"It is better to give someone a soft touch, and they are comforted to the point where they look forward to future interactions with you than for you to just talk to them and they still feel isolated."
