Hi AY Family,

DISCLAIMER: From when I was 9 years old to when I was 14 years old, I went to a non-denominational Sunday Church and every time I went there, I would be exposed to speaking gibberish, the drums and bass guitars, dancing, raising hands towards the flag of and praying for Israel, putting your hand on all the chairs, and false healing.

Dancing and running are even happening in the Seventh-day Adventist Churches.

Psalm 149:3 says: “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.”

People might interpret this verse to say that we should dance in church along with the singing in the background audio as if it is a concert.

We are not singing so that people can see us and applaud us, but we are singing so that God can be glorified.

I never understood why people would be dancing or even running around inside church as if the Holy Spirit took over them when it was actually the enemy taking over.

Sincerely,

Samuel Reid
