Matthew 10:8 says: “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”

     God wants us to share our gifts, talents, and the blessings that He has given us so that we can be a blessing to others.

     He does not want us to keep those things to ourselves, but He wants us to be generous to others by sharing those blessings with them.

     This goes for our tithes and offerings as well. God does not want us to keep the money we have to ourselves because we are saving them up for something that we really want, or to give just because we have to, but He wants us to give out of a genuine heart and love for Him.

     He does not need our money because everything belongs to Him, but He wants us to freely give our money to Him so that other people will be blessed and know that God loves them as well.

     Sometimes when people give to others, they want to be recognized or want something in return, but Christ does not want us to give for those reasons or other selfish desires because He kept on showing God’s love to others and healing them.

     When God blesses you with a blessing, will you freely give that blessing to others so that they can be blessed as well?
