Isaiah 41:6 says: “They helped every one his neighbour; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage.”

     God wants us to show empathy to others by rejoicing with them when they are rejoicing and weeping with them when they are weeping.

     Romans 12:15 says: “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.”

     We can be there for those who are grieving by comforting them.

     Matthew 5:4 says: “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.”

     The Scriptures were written so that we can learn from them. We have them so that we can be comforted, and they also teach us to be patient. 

     Romans 15:4 says: “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”

     Are you willing to show empathy to others by rejoicing with them when they are rejoicing and weeping with them when they are weeping? Will you be there for those who are grieving by comforting them?
