Deuteronomy 31:6 says: “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

     God wants us to be strong and of good courage. He also wants us to not be afraid of what others will do to us.

     We should not be afraid because God is always with us, and He will never fail us nor forsake us.

     Even when we are walking through our darkest valleys, we should not be afraid of evil because God is with us and because His rod and staff comfort us.

     Psalm 23:4 says: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

     We should not be afraid or dismayed because He is with us, and He is our God. He will strengthen us, help us, and uphold us with His righteous right hand.

     Isaiah 41:10 says: “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

     Will you be strong and of good courage? Will you be brave and stand up for what you believe? Will you remember that God is always with you and that He will never leave you or forsake you?
