DISCLAIMER: I know about the different stages of sexual grooming from personal experience. Sexual grooming is not only happening in the Sunday Christian churches, but it's also happening in the Seventh-day Adventist churches.

The sixth stage of sexual grooming is maintaining control.

     Maintaining control happens when the teen or adult interacts with the victim in a way that the victim cannot leave them because everything else is good except their inappropriate behavior towards them. 

     If the victim is scared or uncomfortable with the perpetrator's inappropriate behavior towards them, then they need to leave the relationship even if everything else is good because it is better to grieve after leaving the relationship than feel trapped because of staying in the relationship.
