Lesson 17: Other Types of Boundaries
Lesson 17: Other Types of Boundaries
Hi AY Family,
In our world today, there are a lot of people who are addicted to social media.
There are so many social media platforms. For example: Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
There are people who use these platforms to glorify God by sharing their faith with others, and there are other people who just scroll on these platforms, look at pictures, and watch videos endlessly.
When certain people spend all their time on social media doing their own thing, they still feel empty and like something is missing in their lives.
God does not want us to go on these platforms to please ourselves because, in the end, we will have to give an account for all the things we have been doing.
1 John 2:16-17 says: “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”
He wants us to spend time with Him in His Word instead of endlessly doing our own thing on these platforms.
2 Timothy 2:15 says: “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Sincerely,
Samuel Reid
