Matthew 6:14-15 says: “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your heavenly Father forgive your trespasses.”

     When we forgive others, God will forgive us. When we do not forgive others, God will not forgive us.

     He wants us to forgive those who mistreat us because Christ forgave us.

     Colossians 3:13 says: “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

     When we confess our sins to Him, He is able to forgive and cleanse us of our sins. He is able to do so because He is faithful and just.

     1 John 1:9 says: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

     Remember that Christ loves you so much that He was willing to die on the cross for your sins so that you could have eternal life. 

     He wants you to love and forgive your enemies, just as He did the same for you!
