Lesson 3: Love
Hi AY Family,
Proverbs 17:17 says: “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for
adversity."
Being a true friend means we should always love our friends. We should always
show our friends that we love them.
Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so that we can have eternal life.
John 15:13 says: “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
Being a real friend means that even when you are busy or you have to go, you still make time for others.
We can fulfill the law of Christ by bearing each other’s burdens. Bearing each other’s burdens means that when someone is going through a difficult time, we should be there for them and also pray with them.
Galatians 6:2 says: “Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
Will you be a true friend to others by loving them all the time? Will you show your friends that you love them? Did you know that Jesus died on the cross for your sins so that you could have eternal life? Will you still make time for others even when you are busy or when you have to go? Will you bear other people’s burdens so that the law of Christ will be fulfilled?
Sincerely,
Samuel Reid
