Hi AY Family,
God does not want us to covet what our neighbors have.
When we covet what our neighbors have, we are breaking the tenth commandment in Exodus 20.
Exodus 20:17 says: “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy
neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.”
God does not even want us to covet what the wicked have.
Proverbs 24:1-2 says: “Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them. For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.”
