Hi AY Family,
God wants us to honor our father and mother.
When we do not honor our parents, we are breaking the fifth commandment in Exodus 20.
Exodus 20:12 says: “Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.”
He does not want us to curse our parents or we will die.
Matthew 15:4 says: “For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.”
