Lesson 1: Loving the Forgotten
Lesson 1: Loving the Forgotten
Hi AY Family,
Romans 2:11 says: “For there is no respect of persons with God.”
The reasons why people do not care about other people are because of the person’s skin color, the way they look, where they come from, or just because they are thinking of themselves.
We should never accept one person, but not others. We should accept everyone for who they are. God accepts everyone because He created all of us.
It does not matter if people are different from us, or from a different country than us. All that matters is our willingness to help them instead of passing them by like the Levite and the priest.
We should not reject others because of the way they look, because of their skin color, or because of where they come from, but we should be willing to accept them.
If we follow the Bible and do all these things, then we will be God’s disciples!
Another reason why it is good to help others is that when we do, we can make new friends, and that is a good thing.
After we can show others that we care about them by helping them with their physical needs, we can tell them about God, so that they can learn more about Him!
Let’s find a way to bless others in our communities and in our world.
Accepting others, helping them, loving them, caring about them, and thinking about their needs, are all different ways that we can show love and care to others.
Sincerely,
Samuel Reid
