DISCLAIMER: I know about the different phases of cover-up culture from personal experience. Cover-up culture is not only happening in the Sunday Christian churches, but it's also happening in the Seventh-day Adventist churches.

The third phase of cover-up culture is what I call "The Dangerous Phase".

     In this phase, things get very dangerous because not only are minors being left unsupervised with teens and adults alone, but the teens and adults are doing things that the minors did not even consent to.

     How you know if you are dealing with the dangerous phase of cover-up culture is by asking yourself, "If the teen or adult did what they were doing to the minor in the public space and the minor's protector was there, would the teen or adult continue with their behavior?"

     If the answer is "No", then the teen or adult needs to stop their behavior immediately because it is inappropriate.

     Proverbs 27:5-6 says: “Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”
