SERMON 1: The HAPPY Method

Read for This Week’s Study: James 4:10; Proverbs 3:5-6; Mark 11:24; 2 Thessalonians 3:5; and Matthew 7:21.

Memory Text: “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up” (James 4:10, KJV).

When you are humble in God’s sight, He will exalt you. Humility teaches us about the importance of denying ourselves.

     Trusting in the Lord means that we should not trust in ourselves, but it means that we should be humble so that we can acknowledge Him.

     We receive the things we desire by praying and believing we will have them.

     When we patiently wait for Christ, and when He directs our hearts into His love, then we will have His love in our hearts.

     Not every Christian will enter the kingdom, but I know I can enter His kingdom only if I do His Will.
