SERMON 8: Thanksgiving & Fear Not
Read for This Week’s Study: Deuteronomy 31:6; Psalm 23:4; Psalm 107:1; Isaiah 41:10; Ephesians 5:19-20; and 1 Thessalonians 5:18.
Memory Text: “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee” (Deuteronomy 31:6, KJV).
God wants us to give Him thanks in every situation instead of complaining about them because He is the One who is preserving us, and things could have been worse than they are.
He does not want to be afraid, but He wants us to trust that He will care for us and the situations we find ourselves in.
